Rositsa valley angling
Hi, welcome to the angling section of my site.
As a very keen angler in the U.K it is something I haven't had much time for with all the work setting up the homestead but.... I will soon begin again here on the mighty Stamboloski dam and local lakes. I am available for guided trips and or coaching those that wish to learn how to be a successful angler, particularly Carp, but also predators like Zander Catfish and Pike.
Rig classes
Aside from bait choice rigs are the main reason most anglers fail to catch, particularly on difficult waters where catch and release is practiced. Here in BG catch and release is only just becoming normalised, but even so, good rig mechanics will always result in a better hook hold and more fish on the bank. Whilst many of the more complicated rigs are not needed here in Bulgaria there is a fine balance between simplicity and good rig mechanics. Subtle tweaks can make all the difference, even at the lead end of your terminal game. Rig mechanics is one of my obsessions, and my bite to bank ratio is high, so rest assured a few hours class and you'll also be putting more of them in the net!
Equipment is available
Carp angling in particular can be a costly hobby to start in, I have a vast array of rods reels alarms and camping sundries should you wish to try an angling tour without a huge outlay, or the difficulties in International transportation.
